Thai Villas For Sale on The Beach
One request that we receive on a regular basis is ‘do you have any Thai villas for sale on the beach‘?
The answer of course, is yes, we have a several spectacular villas on the beach that are offered for sale.
When looking at properties on the beach, they will generally be a specific design, very different from similar sized properties inland. This is due to the local regulations, limiting the size of buildings and the height.
For example, in Koh Samui the regulations are as follows;
1. Between the beach and 10 metres into the land it is not allowed to build any permanent structure.
2. Between 10 and 50 metres from the beach, any permanent structures must be a maximum of 6 metres high and a maximum footprint of 75 sqm.
3. After 50 metres from the beach, any permanent structures must be a maximum of 12 metres high and a maximum of 2,000 sqm of built up area.
