Phuket is the largest tourist island in Thailand sitting just off the west coast and is now connected to the mainland by a bridge. Phuket sits around 870km to the south of Bangkok and at 570km2 it is the most visited island in Thailand.
Getting to Phuket
There are 2 convenient ways of getting to Phuket with the most frequent way being by plane. Phuket has direct flights available locally from Bangkok and Koh Samui and direct international flights from Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpa, these locations are alos very convenient connecting flights. There are a few other international routes currently in planning so this will increase soon. The most common airline’s flying to Phuket are Bangkok Airways and Thai Air.
Alternatively, you can arrive by road via car or bus with a very well constructed large bridge connecting Phuket to the mainland at Phang Nga for easy access.

Phuket Weather Seasons
Phuket weather is very pleasant most of the year round with the low season that start around October up until November receiving most of the rainfall. The remainder of the year has an average temperature of around 30 degrees Celsius which is 86 degrees Fahrenheit.
