Information

Koh Samui is 250 sqkm in size and lies around 600km to the south of Bangkok on the east coast of Thailand. It is the largest in a series of about 100 islands and is a very popular spot with tourists and investors. It is the second largest island in Thailand with only Phuket being bigger.

Getting to Koh Samui

There are two choices of arriving on Koh Samui. You can fly to Samui’s beautiful tropical airport. There are direct flights within Thailand from Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Krabi. Internationally you can fly directly from Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpa. A few other international routes are planned so this could increase soon. The main company flying to Koh Samui is Bangkok Airways.
Alternatively, you can arrive on one of the large passenger ferrie from Donsak, Suratthani and Koh Phangan, with three different boat companies offering services, Seatran, Ratcha and Lompraya.
